It’s an exciting time to be in business – especially in Northern Virginia. The growth the region has experienced over the past several years has been tremendous.
The Fairfax Chamber is continuing to evolve and adapt to the changing needs of the business community as it grows. The Chamber remains focused on critical issues for our region, and is expanding into developing areas. These include government contracting, real estate and development, technology, business-to-business services, entrepreneurship, health care, hot issues and trends, and emerging industries.
The Chamber also provides a forum for the business community to address those issues that will enable the community to continue to experience the growth it has in the past, into the future. The private sector has a key leadership role to play in driving the dialogue on the issues and needs of the future – items such as our area’s transportation needs, our future workforce, educational needs and more.
I encourage you to use the Chamber as a means of developing relationships and participating in the dialogue on these and other priority issues. There is not just a place for one person from your company – there’s a place in the Chamber for everyone from your business. I encourage you to commit to making the most of the Fairfax Chamber this year, and if you’re not already a member, join today.
I look forward to working with you and your business to ensure Northern Virginia remains one of the best places in the nation to do business.
