Northern Virginia might be best known for business prowess – but our companies have fun too. Char-a-oke (charity karaoke) has quickly become one of the most exciting traditions at the Fairfax Chamber. The annual fundraiser for the Education Foundation for Fairfax County Public Schools, which is managed by the Chamber, brings together some of the region’s most prominent businesses and executives who let their hair down and belt out their best karaoke tunes to raise money for our schools.
More than doubling in its participation in its second year in 2012, this flagship event featured
more than 25 “celebrity” performances, like:

Launched in January 2011, the Education Foundation, a partnership between the Fairfax Chamber and Fairfax County Public Schools, has made over $1 million in contributions to FCPS in areas like STEM education, teacher assistance, college readiness, assistance for needy students, and more.
